About this collection
Our junior sessions run Tuesday through Sunday from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, right on our clay courts in Rajajinagar. We focus heavily on Red and Orange ball fundamentals, using ladder drills, relay races, and agility games so your child actually enjoys the learning process instead of just standing in line waiting for a turn to hit.
Why We Focus on Clay Courts
We choose to conduct all our junior sessions on outdoor Red Clay courts. For a developing player, clay provides a slower, more predictable bounce than hard courts, giving kids extra time to set up their shots, fix their grip, and work on proper swing paths. It is also more forgiving on growing joints and helps kids build natural stamina, making it the ideal surface for learning the game correctly from day one.
What Your Child Will Learn
Our curriculum isn't just about hitting balls over a net. We break tennis down into manageable pieces for kids:
- Coordination: We prioritize hand-eye coordination drills and agility exercises like ladder work to help with footwork and balance.
- Technical Foundation: Coaches work on grip, swing path, and volley basics. We use lighter, age-appropriate racquets and balls to ensure early success.
- Game-Based Learning: We incorporate mini-tournaments and games to keep kids motivated and to introduce the concepts of scoring and sportsmanship early on.
The Logistics
We provide all necessary equipment, including academy racquets and balls, so you don't need to invest in gear before knowing if your child loves the sport. Each student receives a physical completion certificate at the end of their month. Classes are kept at a size that ensures personal attention, so we recommend reaching out early to secure your slot in our morning batches. Whether your child is a complete beginner or looking to improve, our community is ready to welcome them.
Tennis Temple
At Tennis Temple, we aren't just a coaching center; we’re a community. We believe the best way for a child to learn is by having fun on the court, which is why our coaches prioritize engagement and genuine improvement over rigid, repetitive drills.
