At The YogArt Studio, we believe yoga is a journey inward. This collection highlights the core principles of our practice—where breath, alignment, and mindful movement come together to build your foundation.

I always say, breathwork first, bodywork second. In this video, I explain the fundamental principle of connecting breath to movement. This is the core of my teaching; learning to exhale on a forward bend and inhale as you rise is where the real practice begins.

Safe and mindful practice is my priority. Here, I provide hands-on assistance using a yoga strap to help a student deepen their stretch in Supta Padangusthasana without strain. This personal guidance ensures you get the most out of every pose.

We use tools like wall ropes to build strength, challenge balance, and explore poses in new ways. This practice, known as yoga kurunta, helps decompress the spine and build incredible core stability, showing that yoga is a dynamic and evolving practice.

Reaching your toes is not the goal; moving with awareness is. I use props like chairs to make poses like the forward bend accessible to everyone. This ensures you can work on spinal alignment and hamstring flexibility safely, no matter your starting point.

The journey to an arm balance like Kakasana (Crow Pose) is filled with wobbles, laughter, and perseverance. This video captures the supportive energy of our group classes, where we encourage each other to face challenges and celebrate the effort, not just the result.

This is Purna Matsyendrasana, a deep spinal twist that detoxifies the organs and calms the nervous system. It represents the beautiful intersection of strength, flexibility, and inner stillness that we cultivate in our practice.

Yoga is not just about stretching; it's also about building functional strength. Here, we use stability balls to engage the core, which is the center of our power and vitality. This variation adds a playful challenge while strengthening the entire body.

Why is Padmasana (Lotus Pose) considered the ultimate meditative posture? I explain how its structure naturally aligns the spine, allowing for the free upward flow of prana, or life-force energy. Understanding the 'why' transforms your practice from mere physical exercise to a deeper energetic experience.

You might be used to generic stretching, but here, we change the focus. We use wall ropes, blocks, and bolsters not just for support, but to unlock your spine's potential while keeping your breath steady. Forward bend karoge toh exhale karoge (When bending forward, you exhale)—we ensure your breath drives the movement, preventing the energy blocks that happen when you simply force a pose.
