Regular Monthly Wellness Classes (Santacruz Campus)
Core Session Details
- Frequency: Mon to Sat (6 days a week).
- Duration: 1 Hour per session.
- Batch Structure: Strict gender segregation (Men only or Women only) and specific Senior Citizen batches.
- Activity: Traditional Hatha Yoga, Sukshma Vyayama (Joint movements), and relaxation techniques.
Venue & Infrastructure
- Location: Santacruz East Campus.
- Environment: Non AC, large naturally ventilated halls to support lung capacity building.
- Equipment: Basic carpet or durrie provided; students may bring personal mats.
Instruction Style
- Methodology: Certified teachers trained in the Hansaji method.
- Pace: Non aggressive, steady paced Householder Yoga focusing on function over aesthetics.
21 Day Better Living Foundation Course
Course Curriculum
- Duration: 21 consecutive days.
- Timing: 1 hour 15 mins daily session.
- Syllabus: Introduction to Ashtanga Yoga and the 4 Pillars of Health (Food, Recreation, Habits, Thoughts).
- Techniques: Basic Asanas, Kriyas (Cleansing techniques like Jal Neti), and Pranayama.
Material & Certification
- Study Aids: Introduction to Yoga booklet and notes included.
- Completion: Certificate provided by The Yoga Institute upon finishing the course.
Lifestyle Components
- Guidance: Group discussions on stress management (Parisamvad).
- Routine: Daily tasks to regulate sleep cycles and dietary habits using Sattvik concepts.
1 Month Residential Wellness Immersion
Accommodation & Meals
- Stay: Shared dormitory style accommodation (Bunk beds, clean shared bathrooms, Non AC).
- Food: Full board included (Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks, Dinner).
- Diet: Strictly Sattvik (Vegetarian, no onion, garlic, or spice) designed for digestion and healing.
Daily Routine
- Schedule: Full day engagement (approx 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM).
- Training: Intensive Asana practice, Kriyas (detox cleansing), and Pranayama.
- Service: Mandatory Karma Yoga (Seva) hour within the campus (gardening or serving food).
Campus Access
- Facilities: Access to the Yoga Museum, Library, and Gazebo for reflection.
- Health: Basic BMI and flexibility assessment included.

Why I Teach Yoga
Mera ek mantra hai - challenge hi champion banata hai (It’s the challenge that makes you a champion). I’ve seen too many people give up at the first sign of trouble. Instead, I believe real growth comes when you decide to apne aap ko pehchano (know yourself) and fix the roots, not just the surface.
What Yoga Means To Me
Yoga, for me, isn’t just a workout. It’s how you live every day. Our institute’s Householder Yoga approach is about weaving yoga into daily family life - from what you eat (ahar), how you spend your day (vihar), to your habits (achar) and thoughts (vichar). I’ll help you balance these four pillars so you can truly experience holistic wellness through yoga.
How I Tackle Health Challenges
I look at health issues as your body’s way of telling you something. Yoga is my tool to help you listen and heal. I work with people facing stress, anxiety, and those wanting yoga for stress relief. Chronic back pain, PCOD, digestive issues, and migraines are all areas where I’ve seen yoga make a real difference. We go deep - asanas for the body, breathing for the mind, and diet tweaks, like swapping chai for nimbu paani (lemon water), for everyday wellness.

I’ve created a space where everyone belongs:
- Women: Focus on flexibility, balance, and hormonal health.
- Men: Build strength and mental clarity.
- Elders: Gentle routines for mobility and stability (even if you’re 80!).
- Kids: Fun yoga for confidence and movement.
I won’t say yoga fixes everything overnight, but it does help you face life a lot stronger.

My Story
Namaskar. The Yoga Institute, sabse purana yoga center hai – 1918 se. Mere sasur ji, Shri Yogendraji, ne shuruaat ki thi, sapna tha ki yoga har ghar ka hissa ho. Mother Sitadevi Yogendra aur Dr. Jayadeva Yogendra ne legacy ko aage badhaya. Ab main, Hansa ma, mission ko continue kar rahi hoon. Meri baat, log kehte hain maa jaisi lagti hai. Yoga sirf asan nahi, attitude, khana, soch – sab kuch hai. Dar ke nahi jeena hai – life ko face karo, balance pao.
