About this collection
Each chowki starts with a sturdy MDF base that I paint and stencil by hand, ensuring that no two pieces are exactly alike. They are designed for daily use in your temple or as display stands for your idols, bringing a bit of handmade joy to your festive setup.
Bringing Handmade Grace to Your Pooja Room
I believe that the items we use for our daily rituals should have a personal touch. That is why I started painting these pooja chowkis. Instead of mass-produced items, I wanted to create something that feels like it belongs in a home rather than a factory. Every piece I create is made on a 6x4 inch MDF base, sanded smooth, and finished with my own hand-painted designs.
Why Choose Hand-Painted Decor?
- Unique Detailing: Whether it is a traditional mandala, a delicate kolam pattern, or a vibrant floral design, I stencil and paint each piece individually. This means the chowki you receive has been handled and painted by me, from the first coat of color to the final protective varnish.
- Versatile Use: While these are perfect as a platform for idols in your pooja room, many clients use them as accent pieces on side tables, or even as stands for small decorative objects.
- Care Instructions: Since these are hand-painted, they are best kept as indoor decor. A gentle wipe with a dry cloth keeps them clean and dust-free.
Planning for Festivals
If you are looking for festive gifting, especially for occasions like Rakhi, Diwali, or housewarmings, I often create these in small batches. Because I am a one-woman show, I sometimes run out of stock quickly. If you have a specific color theme in mind or need a set for a return gift, please reach out to me early. I love working on custom color requests if you want to match your home temple's decor.
