About this collection
Whether it is our popular Gol Gappa parties or torchlight reading sessions during a Pyjama Party, every event is designed to get kids laughing and interacting. It is all about building a space where your child feels comfortable enough to be themselves, make friends, and actually enjoy learning without a single screen in sight.
Why We Are Different
At The Reading Room in Noida, we believe books should be best friends, not chores. Since 2022, we have been creating a dedicated, screen-free zone where children aged 3 to 10 can engage in playway learning.
The Community Experience
We are more than just a library. Our space is a hub for:
- Themed Celebrations: From Janmashtami crafts to our grand Ramleela performances, we introduce culture through masti (fun).
- Creative Outlets: Our dress-up days, like Halloween or Career Day, give kids the chance to build confidence and explore their interests.
- Social Connection: We host casual get-togethers where kids can share stories, work on crafts, and learn social skills in a safe environment.
Learning Through Play
Every activity we host, from drama workshops to science experiments, is built around curiosity. We find that when children participate in hands-on tasks like making puppets or cooking fireless snacks, they retain much more than they would from a standard textbook lesson. We keep the environment relaxed and encouraging, making sure that every child leaves with a sense of achievement and a few new friends.
The Reading Room
I am Riddhika, and I started this space because I wanted a place where my own kids and others could simply be kids. We are not a formal classroom, but a gang of thinkers and dreamers where books are the main event.
