Music for Every Child: Inclusive Early Development
We believe every child is musical and deserves to experience the joy of learning through rhythm, movement, and group play in a truly inclusive space.
Music connects us across generations. This video is from our special "Generations" program, where elders and children come together to share songs, movement, and joy.
For Independence Day, we celebrate the hopeful and united sound of a free India. This video features children from our inclusive sessions, reminding us that music rises above all differences.
I am so proud of the children from Jai Vakeel School for students with special needs. Here they are winning 2nd place for their beautiful singing at a competition.
Here I am celebrating Children's Day with the little ones at the Byculla Women's Prison Creche. It was a joy to share the classic rhyme "Aaj mangalwar hai, chuhe ko bukhar hai" with them.
A spontaneous hug from my students after class. Moments like these, filled with genuine connection and joy, are why I am so passionate about bringing music to every child.
Music is a universal language that everyone can understand. This is a glimpse of our session with the wonderful kids from Jai Vakeel, starting our class with a welcoming "Namaste" song.
We are so proud to be part of the Jai Vakeel family. This video shows our students performing at their Annual Day, a testament to their hard work and the power of music.
About Music for Every Child
You do not need musical talent to join our circle. My classes are structured so that every child, regardless of developmental stage or ability, feels comfortable participating. We use the Music Together® framework, a research-backed approach from New York, to ensure that whether your child is dancing with scarves or simply observing the rhythm, they are building social and cognitive skills in a safe, judgment-free environment.
Music as a Language for All
At The Music Circle, we see music as the heartbeat of early development. My journey began in New York, where I first experienced how music transforms not just a child's brain, but their entire social experience. When I brought the Music Together® program to Mumbai, I wanted to ensure this was accessible, not an elitist activity.
Whether it is a standard session in our Bandra, Kemps Corner, Prabhadevi, or Worli studios, or our inclusive programs at foundations like Jai Vakeel, the philosophy remains the same: music is for everyone.
Why Inclusion Matters
We do not separate kids by ability. We believe that when children of different developmental stages interact, they learn empathy and rhythm together. In our sessions, you will see kids with diverse needs participating alongside typically developing peers, all united by the beat.
- Cognitive Growth: Research shows that music during the first five years aids brain development and language acquisition.
- Motor Skills: From egg shakers to parachute play, every activity is a workout for coordination.
- Social Bonding: It is about that spontaneous hug, the "Namaste" song, and the joy of shared experience.
The Practical Side
Our 10-week and 6-week terms are not about performance. They are about active participation. You receive the songbook, the app for home play, and a community of caregivers who are all in this together. Join us and see how much fun building these developmental blocks can be.
