Early Childhood Music & Movement Classes
Music is about more than just songs. It is how little ones learn to listen, move, and build the confidence to shine. See how we turn simple play into foundational developmental milestones.
In our classes, children have the freedom to be creative. Here, a little musician decided his shaker would make a perfect microphone, showing the kind of imaginative play we love to encourage.
Silly songs and laughter are a huge part of learning. This song about a bubble in the throat makes everyone giggle, but it also teaches rhythm, storytelling, and listening skills in a fun way.
This little musician was often a quiet observer in class, but at home, his creativity shines. It shows that children absorb everything, and music gives them a beautiful way to express their own ideas.
This little one was caught trying to get to his favorite instrument basket. This kind of determination and love for music is exactly what we hope to inspire in every child.
We practice simple rhythm patterns using our hands and voices. This helps children internalize the beat and is a foundational skill for all future music learning, all done through playful imitation.
It is so wonderful to see a child who was once shy, confidently singing her favorite song at a family gathering. This is the power of music to help children find their voice and blossom.
About Learning Through Music
One thing parents notice in our classes is that we have no 'don't touch' policy regarding our instruments. If your child wants to grab the rhythm sticks while we are using drums, we let them do it. This freedom allows them to explore their own musical curiosity at their own pace, which is often where the most significant learning happens.
While it looks like a fun jam session, our classes are grounded in the Music Together curriculum, designed to support cognitive, physical, and social development in kids from 8 months to 5 years. We operate on the principle of mixed-age learning. This is not just about keeping the family together. The younger ones learn by watching and imitating, while the older children step up as helpers, building leadership skills and empathy.
Why Our Approach Works
- Safe Exploration: We sit on the floor, surrounded by drums, shakers, and bells. Whether your child wants to play along, dance with scarves, or just sit on your lap and watch, they are learning. We respect their need to observe before they participate.
- Parent-Child Bond: To keep the focus on connection, we require parent-child participation. No nannies or maids are allowed in the circle. This creates a special, distraction-free environment where you and your child can sing, giggle, and snuggle without outside noise.
- Beyond the Studio: We know music doesn't stop when you leave. Every term, you get access to our app and an illustrated songbook so you can continue the fun at home. It is a fantastic way to keep that musical connection going between sessions.
Whether you are joining us at The Space Fitness in Juhu, our Worli location, or in Thane, the atmosphere remains the same. It is a place to slow down, leave the daily chaos behind, and simply enjoy the magic of sound with your little one. We have seen shy toddlers find their voice and parents find a community, one song at a time. 🥰
Little Miracles
Hi, I'm Madhura. For thirteen years, I’ve watched children go from shy observers to confident singers. It isn't about teaching them to perform; it's about providing a space where they feel safe to explore and connect with their families through sound.
