What Makes Our Author Events Different
I don’t just read stories - I turn them into a full-on adventure. When I bring a book to life, it’s not just about words. There’s music, movement, and hands-on crafts. Kids don’t sit still here, they sing, dance, and create. My events are all about masti (fun), learning, and connecting with stories in ways that stick.
How We Roll
- Musical storytelling: We sing the
kahani(story), not just read it. Kids pick up rhythm and language naturally. - Movement & dance: Everyone gets up and acts out the story. It’s loud, energetic, and super interactive.
- Instrument play: We dive into
gaana-bajana(music and instruments) with shakers, drums, triangles - whatever gets the beat going. - Craft activities: Each session has a craft inspired by the book. Painting, weaving, building - kids make something that ties back to the story.
Why It Matters
I believe music and stories are key for kids. My sessions teach about our cultural arts and traditions, like the journey of a Pashmina shawl or the art of papier-mâché. We explore teamwork and creativity through verse, music, and movement.
Who Should Join
Kids aged 4-10 will love it. Parents, you’re not just watching - you’re part of the action. Sing, dance, craft, and make memories with your child. It’s a chance to play together and enjoy something real.

My Story
Hey, I’m Priyanka Seth Pandit. Special teacher, Columbia grad, but honestly, music’s what connects me to kids and parents. My journey started in NYC, searching for a music class for my own baby, and Music Together just clicked. Saw magic happen – brains growing, hearts connecting. Moved back to India, brought Music Together here, started The Musicircle. Moments that stay? Kids hugging me after class, parents singing even if they say 'I can't sing,' working in places like Jai Vakeel Foundation and Byculla Prison Creche. That’s what keeps me going.
My Work
Music Together family classes - Parent-child music class for kids 6 months to 5 years, all about making music together, no talent needed.
Music in Measures for preschools - Preschool music movement program, focusing on rhythm, memory, hand-eye coordination, and early childhood rhythm games.
Teacher training for music educators - We train teachers who love music and kids, so they can create joyful spaces too.
Global songs, Mumbai flavor - Multicultural music activities, mixing global songs with Hindi and Marathi rhymes, like Diwali dancing masti.
A space for joy and bonding - Classes are silly, warm, full of group hugs, scarves, and family bonding through music.
