Inside Our Joyful Music Classes
Step into our circle and see what happens when you combine music, movement, and family bonding. Our classes are designed for joyful participation, no musical talent required.
A collage from our "Banjo" collection wrap-up, showing parents and children engaged in hand-play songs. These activities are wonderful for bonding and developing fine motor skills.
More happy moments from our "Banjo" collection. You can see the mix of seated activities and free movement that makes each class dynamic and fun for every child.
Children and parents dancing with colorful scarves during our "Banjo" collection. Using props like scarves helps children visualize the music and express themselves freely.
A beautiful moment showing different family members bonding with their children in class. We love creating a space where dads, moms, and grandparents can share in the musical journey.
Watch closely as this mom taps the beat on her child's legs. Soon, the child starts moving to the rhythm on his own. This shows how children absorb music and participate in their own time and way.
Passing games are more than just fun. They build crucial skills like attention, coordination, and timing, all while the children are simply enjoying a song together in the circle.
Look at the amazing concentration here. This little one is observing our teacher Ria and participating independently with rhythm sticks, showing how our classes encourage focus and coordination.
Sometimes a new space can be overwhelming. Here, our teacher Ria gently soothes a child by making up a song about the window blinds, helping him feel secure and ready to join the fun.
A glimpse of our parent-child class in Bandra. We create a relaxed atmosphere where even the youngest babies can absorb the music while being held and rocked by their caregivers.
"Dancing with Teddy" is a wonderful circle dance where each child gets a chance to be in the middle. This builds confidence and reinforces the sense of community in our classroom.
About Inside Our Joyful Classroom
We keep our class sizes intimate, capped at 10 to 12 families, ensuring every child has plenty of space to explore. You do not need any musical training to join us. The focus is purely on the bond between you and your child, and whether they choose to jump into the circle or observe from the sidelines, they are participating in their own way.
What to Expect in Our Sessions
Our 45-minute sessions are designed as a mix of structured play and free exploration. We start by welcoming everyone into the circle, singing hello to each child by name, before moving into rhythmic games, instrument jamming with shakers and drums, and gentle movement with colorful scarves.
Why It Is More Than Just Songs
While it looks like pure fun, every activity is backed by research. We utilize the Music Together curriculum because it supports early brain growth, motor skills, and language acquisition. For children from birth to five, these years are critical for developing basic music aptitude. By creating a music-making environment rather than a performance-based one, we remove the pressure and focus on the joy of discovery.
Continuing the Fun at Home
You are not left on your own once the class ends. Every semester enrollment includes:
- The Songbook: A beautifully illustrated book to follow along with at home.
- Digital Access: The Music Together app so you can stream the specific playlist for the current term.
- Physical Media: A CD or download code to keep the music playing in the car or at the dinner table.
We believe that music is a fundamental need for children, not an extracurricular luxury. Whether you visit us in Bandra, Kemps Corner, or Worli, our studios are designed to be safe, clean, and welcoming spaces for your family.
