I love twisting classic Indian sweets into modern, drool-worthy desserts. These are my special creations for festivals, made with a whole lot of heart.

This is my Cheesecake Modak, a special creation for the Ganpati festival. It has a creamy, tangy cheesecake filling encased in a modak-shaped shell, finished with a touch of edible gold leaf. It's my modern prashad to Bappa.

About Festive & Fusion Desserts

For festivals like Ganpati or Diwali, I don't believe in standard, mass-produced sweets. My Cheesecake Modaks are my signature fusion—a creamy, tangy twist on the classic prasad. If you are planning a puja or a festive get-together in Mumbai, please message me a few days in advance. Since I bake these in small batches in my mom's kitchen at night, I need a little time to ensure everything is perfect and fresh.

Fusing tradition with innovation is at the heart of what I do. My Modak Pies are the perfect example, combining the classic modak shape and filling with a modern pie format.6
Even with a new form, I never let go of the soul of the modak. The filling is made the traditional way with fresh coconut, jaggery, and a lot of love.
This might look like a modak, but it's not as you know it. The outer shell is a baked, buttery pie crust, offering a delightful textural contrast to the soft, sweet filling inside.

My Rose and Pistachio Tres Leches is a festive favorite. I soak a delicate pistachio sponge in aromatic rose-infused milk for a dessert that’s both traditional and modern.
