I don’t believe in jarred sauces or shortcuts. Whether it is the pesto in our pasta or the coconut broth for our Burmese Khowsuey, my team makes everything from scratch in our open kitchen. You can taste the difference in that first bite of Aglio e Olio—fresh, vibrant, and exactly how it should be.
Dining at The Fat Chef is about slowing down. Located on Varthur Main Road in Whitefield, I designed this space as an escape from the city traffic, offering a green, open-air setting that feels more like a friend’s backyard than a formal restaurant.
My approach to global mains is simple: keep the ingredients honest and the flavors bold. For the pasta lovers, the Eggplant Parmigiana is a steady crowd-favorite, featuring layers of fried eggplant, mozzarella, and our house-made tomato sauce. I built this spot on a farm in Whitefield to feel like a slice of Goa. It is a place for lazy afternoons and evening dinners where the music is good, the dogs are welcome, and the food is cooked to order.
