While I carry my own Sheesham wood tabla set, I require you to arrange two high-quality instrument microphones with stands and a compatible PA system. This setup is essential to ensure the subtle nuances of my classical compositions and rhythmic cycles reach every guest clearly.
My approach to tabla is rooted in the traditional Guru-shishya parampara, a lineage of learning that emphasizes discipline and depth. Being a Tabla Visharad is not just about a certificate; it is about the years of practice required to master the complex 'bols' (rhythmic phrases) and the ability to adapt to the pitch of any lead artist, whether you are hosting a Bhajan evening, a Kirtan, or a classical vocal concert.
