First Splashes: Parent & Toddler Swimming Program
Introduce your little ones to the water in a gentle, play-based environment. Our Get Wet program helps children aged 6 months to 3 years build confidence, one splash at a time.
Getting your toddler ready for their swim session is easy with this simple checklist. We recommend avoiding heavy meals, moisturizing skin, and ensuring they are healthy and hydrated for a fun and safe experience.
Here are the swimming essentials for your toddler's first class. A comfortable swimsuit, a swim cap, swim diapers, and properly fitting goggles will ensure they are ready to make a splash.
Fun and games are a core part of our "Get Wet" program. Watch as toddlers and parents engage in activities designed to make them comfortable and happy in the water.
At just 2.5 years old, this little swimmer is learning to float with ease. Our coaches provide gentle support to help our youngest students master this essential step towards water confidence.

About First Splashes: Parent & Toddler Program
In this program, you are in the pool with your child, which makes a big difference. It is not just about swimming techniques; it is about bonding and helping them feel secure. Please pack swim diapers, as we have a strict hygiene policy for the little ones, and we recommend feeding them about 90 minutes before the session to keep them comfortable during the water exercises.
Building Water Confidence Early
Swimming is a vital life skill, and it is never too early to start. Our "Get Wet" program is tailored specifically for children aged 6 months to 3 years. We focus entirely on water acclimatization, helping your child move from the initial hesitation to feeling at home in the pool. We use the Michael Phelps Swimming method, which is globally recognized and prioritizes water safety, buoyancy, and breath control through structured, playful learning.
What Happens in the Pool
Every session lasts between 30 to 40 minutes, which we have found is the perfect length for a toddler's attention span. Because you are in the water with them, you become their first point of safety. We use songs like "Wheels on the Bus" and colorful, baby-safe floating toys to keep them engaged. This ensures they learn essential survival skills like back floating and safe submersion without even realizing they are in a class. We keep our batch sizes small—limited to 6 to 8 pairs—to ensure our coaches can give every parent and child the individual attention they need.
Preparation and Locations
To ensure a clean and safe environment, we strictly enforce a swim diaper policy for all participants. Make sure to bring a comfortable swimsuit, a swim cap, and goggles if your child is ready for them. We recommend keeping them hydrated before the class. You can join our program at any of our three centers across Navi Mumbai: Marine Club in Vashi, Club Millennium in Sanpada, or Sanjivani International School in Kharghar. Each location is equipped with clean, sanitized facilities and certified lifeguards on the deck.
The Swimfinity
We started The Swimfinity because we know that swimming is more than just a sport—it is a foundation for life. We love seeing that 'kya baat hai' moment when a toddler who was initially scared of the water starts splashing around with pure joy.
