Swimming Classes for Kids and Toddlers
We transform water fear into water confidence. Through fun games and constant encouragement, we help your child master the water safely.
A perfect example of a first-day lesson. Our coach provides hands-on support to help a new student get comfortable with floating and kicking, ensuring a positive and encouraging start to her swimming journey.
Building confidence starts with mastering the basics. Here, our coach guides young swimmers through floating exercises, a fundamental skill for water safety and the first step towards independent swimming.
We teach proper technique from the ground up. This dry-land drill helps a young student practice and perfect the flutter kick motion, building muscle memory before even getting into the water.
Leg strength is crucial for a powerful kick. Our young swimmers practice the flutter kick at the edge of the pool, a simple yet effective drill to build stamina and proper form.
We make warm-ups fun and effective. Here, kids in our class perform shoulder strength exercises, preparing them for their swimming lesson while building essential muscles for powerful strokes.
A glimpse into a typical kids' batch at our Gurugram facility. Our coaches are always in the water, providing direct instruction and ensuring every child receives the attention they need to learn and improve.

Welcome, Poyraz! We are proud to welcome students from all over the world. This young swimmer from Russia is getting comfortable in the water, showing that the joy of swimming has no borders.
"Very good, very good!" Positive reinforcement is key to our teaching philosophy. Watch as a young swimmer practices her strokes with encouragement from our coach, building both skill and confidence.
Technique drills are a core part of our training. A young competitive swimmer practices arm movements with paddles, a tool we use to improve strength and stroke efficiency.
About Swimming for Kids & Toddlers
At our Sector 95A facility, you will always see our coaches in the water, not just standing on the deck. Whether it is removing initial hydrophobia or teaching the first flutter kick, we are physically right there with your child. This 1:12 student-coach ratio ensures every toddler gets the hands-on guidance they need to feel safe and secure.
How We Build Water Confidence
Swimming is not just a sport; it is a life skill. When we work with kids, our goal is simple: we want them to feel like they own the water. We start by removing the fear of water through play and simple tricks. Bachche (kids) learn better when they are having fun, so we turn technical drills into games.
The FMA Learning Stages
We break down learning into clear, manageable steps so children stay motivated and see progress every week:
- Stage 1 (Confidence): This is where we focus on breath holding, bubbling, and the starfish float. This builds the basic trust between the child and the water.
- Stage 2 (Propulsion): We introduce flutter kicking mechanics using kickboards to build leg strength and essential muscle memory.
- Stage 3 (Strokes): We teach the basics of Freestyle and Backstroke, ensuring proper arm rotation and form from day one.
Why Parents Choose FMA
We do not just shout instructions from the sidelines. Our certified coaches are in the pool for every single session. When a child succeeds, you will hear us cheering "Bahut acche!" (very good!) because we celebrate every win, no matter how small. We maintain a small batch size to ensure no child gets lost in the crowd. Our training is about consistency, patience, and building a mindset that says I can do this.
