Kids & Infant Swimming Lessons in Mumbai
Give your child the gift of water confidence. I use gentle, patient methods to teach swimming fundamentals, ensuring a safe and fun experience for every little swimmer.
This video shows one of my youngest students, just 4.5 years old, practicing his backstroke. My gentle, child-focused method helps kids learn proper swimming techniques safely and confidently from a very early age.
For my infant swimming classes, I am in the water guiding each child, using flotation aids to ensure safety. The focus is on getting them comfortable and happy, building a positive first experience with swimming.
A typical group class for kids is full of energy and learning. Here, young swimmers practice their kicking techniques, an essential foundation for building strength and propulsion in the water.
I believe in a hands-on approach, which is why I am always in the pool with my students. This photo is from a private lesson at a client's residential pool, where I am coaching two young siblings together.
This underwater view captures a young swimmer confidently moving through the water. My goal is to make children feel completely comfortable and happy in the pool, turning lessons into an exciting adventure.
Here are two young brothers enjoying an underwater swim during their lesson. Sibling classes are a great way for them to learn together and motivate each other in a familiar setting.
About Kids & Infant Swimming Lessons
I stay in the water with your child because I know the difference a physical presence makes when they are learning to float or kick. We start by building water comfort through bubbling and simple breath control, moving to strokes only when they feel truly secure and confident, not just forced.
Whether we are at my pool in Chinchpokli or I am visiting your society's pool, the focus remains the same: safety and steady progress.
For beginners, I run a 15-session course designed to build a solid foundation. We do not rush. The first phase is entirely about getting them used to the water—learning how to bubble, control their breath, and perform a starfish float. These are the skills that stop water fear before it starts. Once they are comfortable with that, we move on to kicking and basic Freestyle arm movements.
I use a hands-on approach for all children's lessons. This means I am right there with them, providing physical support so they understand exactly how to move in the water. It builds trust, and it ensures that they are not just flailing, but actually learning to use the water to move.
If you are looking for private lessons, I offer 12-session packages where I travel to your home pool. This provides undivided attention, which is often ideal for infants or children who are particularly nervous about the water. My goal is not just to teach them how to swim one length of the pool, but to help them get comfortable in the water so they can enjoy it for life.
