I love conducting these small group workshops for get-togethers and parties. We sit, we chat, and we knot. Everyone here was a first-timer, and they were such fast learners that we finished in just half an hour.
About Our Workshop in Action
You do not need to be a pro to join. I keep these sessions very simple, teaching easy knots like the Lark's Head or Spiral knot that anyone can pick up in minutes. I bring all the cotton cords, clasps, and tools, so you just show up with your friends and get ready to create your own spiral keychain or wall hanging in about an hour.
Whether you are planning a birthday, a bridal shower, or just need a reason to hang out, my macrame workshops are all about having a laugh while making something cool. I break down the session into two styles: the quick, fun keychain workshops that last about 45 to 60 minutes, and the slightly more detailed wall hanging or plant hanger sessions that take about 2 to 2.5 hours.
What I Bring
I handle all the logistics so you don't have to worry about the setup. I bring pre-selected 3mm or 4mm cotton cords, metal hardware, wooden dowels, and all the cutting tools needed. You and your friends will learn the basics, get hands-on help from me to fix any tricky knots, and everyone walks away with a piece they actually made themselves.
Why Book With Me?
It is not a formal class. It is more like a DIY party where we chat, knot, and occasionally laugh when someone’s spiral keychain looks a bit unique. You do not need to be 'crafty' or have any background in art. If you can hold a cord, you are good to go. Most groups finish their projects faster than they expect, leaving plenty of time to hang out and show off your new creations.
