Macrame Keychain Workshop
Bring your friends together for a fun, hands-on session where you'll learn to knot your own custom macrame keychain from scratch.
This video shows the simple knotting technique we'll use to create your keychain. I'll teach you the basic macrame knots, and you'll be surprised how quickly these cords turn into a stylish accessory. It’s a perfect beginner-friendly DIY craft.
Here is a whole batch of handmade keychains, showing the variety of colors you can choose from. Whether you want something bright and bold or subtle and earthy, you can create a keychain that perfectly matches your style.
About Your Handmade Keychain
You don't need any craft experience, bilkul nahi. I bring all the 3mm cotton cords, metal clasps, and tools to your venue, and within about an hour, I will teach your group the Lark’s Head and Spiral knots to finish your own boho-style keychain. It’s a very chill, hands-on activity that works perfectly for birthdays or just a fun get-together with the gang.
Many people think macrame is complicated, but it is actually incredibly meditative once you get the hang of it. My goal with these keychain workshops is to make the process accessible and genuinely fun for everyone involved, regardless of their skill level.
When you book a session with me and my mom, you aren't just paying for a craft; you are getting a complete experience. We handle the setup, supply all the high-quality materials—from vibrant 3mm or 4mm cotton cords to standard silver or gold lobster clasps—and provide all the necessary tools like scissors and measuring tapes on loan. You won't have to worry about running out for supplies or figuring out how to finish the knots. We guide you through the basics of knot securing and fringe combing, ensuring that every participant leaves with a finished, usable piece rather than a half-done project.
These sessions are perfect for intimate gatherings, whether it's a birthday party, bridal shower, or a weekend catch-up with friends. Since we focus on creating a supportive, group-based learning environment, small groups work best so I can give everyone the attention they need. If you want to add a personal touch, we can even incorporate charms like the evil eye to make each keychain uniquely yours. Toh, chalo? Let's make something beautiful together.
