Handmade Macrame Workshops and Decor Highlights
Take a look at some of my favourite moments from workshops and custom projects. From teaching basic knots to crafting personalized keepsakes, everything here is made with care and a bit of joy!
It’s so wonderful to see people discover the joy of making something with their own hands. I recently hosted a macrame workshop for a lovely group of Montessori teachers, and it was amazing to see them learn the knots and create beautiful pieces like plant hangers and bohemian necklaces.
Macrame is for everyone, even the littlest hands. Look at this sweet 6-year-old completely focused on making his very own bag charm. It’s such a proud moment when kids see what they’ve created all by themselves.
From a simple cord to a dreamy, festival-ready outfit. This custom macrame dress was a true labor of love, with every knot tied by hand. It shows just how versatile and beautiful macrame fashion can be.
I had so much fun with this group of 11 and 12-year-olds at a Montessori school. They learned how to make their own macrame plant hangers and were so excited to have a finished piece to take home and use.
A piece of jewelry can completely change a look. I designed this collar necklace to be a statement piece that you can pair with anything, from a simple top to a saree. It all starts with a sketch and comes to life knot by knot.
I love creating personalized keepsakes that bring a little magic into a child's room. This custom cloud and rainbow dreamcatcher, made for a little one named Yatika, is a perfect example of a unique, handmade birthday gift.
About Featured
You do not need prior crafting experience to join my workshops. I travel to your home, office, or school in Bengaluru with all the necessary materials, from cotton cords to beads. We keep the sessions relaxed and beginner-friendly, focusing on simple knots that turn into beautiful plant hangers, keychains, or jewelry by the end of the session.
I love working with different fiber arts to bring color and texture into your space. My workshops are designed to be therapeutic, offering a break from digital screens for both adults and children. Whether you are a total beginner or simply looking for a fun group activity, these sessions are paced for your comfort.
Why Book a Session
- Beginner Friendly: We start with basic techniques like the Square Knot or Spiral Knot. You will walk away with a finished piece in just 2 to 3 hours.
- I Come to You: I bring all the supplies, including cords, scissors, and beads, to your preferred venue in Bengaluru. You just bring your curiosity.
- Customizable Projects: Beyond standard workshops, I create personalized nursery decor, dreamcatchers, and boho fashion accessories. If you have a specific vision for a gift or room decor, let me know and we can plan it together.
My work is about the process of knotting, stitch by stitch. It creates a space where people can disconnect, focus on their hands, and feel the pride of making something functional and beautiful.
