Interior Design Features & Magazine Press
A look at the stories behind our work, as featured in Elle Decor and Good Homes, capturing the intersection of heritage and modern design.
I was thrilled to see my Pink Verranda project featured in Elle Decor. The article highlights the transformation of a 200-year-old bungalow into a modern art deco restaurant, focusing on the archways and fluted walls.
Another look at the Elle Decor feature, which delves into the design details like the custom-made jali screen in the entryway and the British-style sconce lights that add drama to the space.
This feature showcases the restaurant's hallway, noting the custom-made chandelier and the trapezoidal black-and-white tile pattern that enhances the heritage character of the space.
A full-page view from the magazine feature, detailing the custom chandelier and the striking geometric flooring I chose to complement the restaurant's art deco theme.
The press clipping details the renovation of this cozy dining space, where I inserted arches and paired a rust-colored sofa with a pendant light to create a warm and stylish nook.
This feature highlights a passage I redecorated into a private seating nook. The design uses whites, gold, and warm wood accents to evoke the tranquility of an oasis.
The statement-making staircase was a key focus of this feature. The article notes how the black baluster creates a solemn contrast against the neutral walls and charcoal stone flooring.
This clipping from Elle Decor captures the magic of the outdoor area at night, where the fabric lights from Lumi "steal the show, twirling enchantingly from a series of retractable rafters."
A second shot from the feature, emphasizing the enchanting effect of the custom fabric lights in the restaurant's outdoor seating area.
It was an honor for my White Garden project to be featured in Elle Decor. The article, titled "Artisanal Food Meets Artisanal Interiors," captures the essence of the design philosophy behind this space.
About Press & Publications
These magazine features highlight the intentional design behind projects like our studio remodel and the Pink Verranda restaurant. They reflect our core approach of combining heritage elements with modern functionality, ensuring every space serves a purpose while feeling deeply personal.
When we take on a project, whether it is a heritage restaurant in a 150-year-old bungalow or a modern office space, we look for the story beneath the surface. Our design process is not about following trends. It is about uncovering the 'olavu', or the emotion, that makes a space yours.
What you see in these publications is the result of deep collaboration. We integrate architectural details like arches, fluted wall panels, and bespoke lighting to balance beauty with utility. For commercial clients in Bengaluru, this means creating environments that are not just aesthetically pleasing, but operationally efficient. From restaurant interior design and spa fit-outs to boutique office studios, our goal remains the same: to create spaces that feel less like a project and more like a home. We handle the entire process, from civil work and restoration to furniture sourcing, ensuring the final output matches the narrative we built together at the start.
