When Design Essentia featured my project 'Lakshya,' they highlighted more than just the aesthetics. The editors were drawn to how we solved complex structural constraints, such as transforming a dark, cramped utility area into a light-filled, functional extension of the home, all while maintaining a California casual vibe.
For me, interior design is an offering, which is the literal meaning of 'Eijya.' When we worked on the Lakshya project, the goal was to create a sanctuary for clients moving back from the US, blending their need for contemporary lines with the relaxed, warm aesthetic they loved. Editors often highlight how we handle difficult structural changes. For instance, we did not just decorate; we removed walls to invite natural light and merged spaces to make the floor plan work for modern living.
This commitment to soulful design—where function meets comfort—is consistent across all my work, whether it is a small renovation or a complete home makeover. My process starts with 3D visuals so you know exactly what you are getting, and I use factory-finished elements to ensure quality that stands the test of time. Seeing this approach recognized in print confirms that good design does not have to be complicated; it just needs to be honest, functional, and tailored to the people living inside.
