About Our Tennis Family
Tennis isn't just about the mechanics of the stroke, it is about who you share the court with. In our group sessions at Willingdon Catholic Gymkhana and Don Bosco, you aren't just hitting against a wall. You are rallying with 4 to 6 players at similar levels who force you to move, think, and stay focused. We rotate players, organize lighthearted internal tournaments, and run evening sessions under floodlights specifically so you can blow off steam after work with a group that actually cares about your progress.
When you join our tennis family, you are getting more than a coach. You are getting a structure that keeps you accountable.
Why Our Community Works
Most people quit tennis because they practice alone or in boring, disconnected environments. We fix that by creating a social, high-energy atmosphere. Our weekday intensive training—which runs 3 days a week—blends 15 minutes of dedicated tennis fitness with basket drills and match play. You walk in, you warm up with the group, and you leave having played real points.
Real Training for Real Players
- Structured Drills: We don't just feed balls randomly. We work on specific biomechanics, helping you land that perfect 'phatka' (smack) on your forehand.
- Tennis Fitness: If you aren't fit, you won't last a set. We incorporate resistance bands and footwork ladders into our sessions because you need to be an athlete to play this game properly.
- Monsoon Policy: Mumbai rains won't stop your progress. If the courts are wet, we move indoors for conditioning and drills. The game never stops.
The Batch Experience
Our group training is designed to be social but sharp. We keep ratios small (4-6 players) so you aren't standing around waiting for your turn. If you want a more relaxed vibe, our weekend social batches are larger and focus on doubles positioning and consistent rallying. We also host internal tournaments, which are the best place to test your mental game and see how your training holds up when there is actually something on the line.
