About Junior Tennis Programs (Kids & Teens)
Mind Over Racket
At Tennace Academy, we don’t just teach tennis - we shape how kids think on and off the court. I see a lot of juniors who start off stiff or unmotivated, and honestly, the effort has to come from them. My job is to show the way, not do it for them.
How We Train
Fun is key, but we push hard. Kids who enjoy the game stick with it, but they also sweat for it.
- Footwork and fitness are huge. Tennis is mostly legs, so we drill agility till they’re ready for anything.
- Every shot matters - we break down technique, from serves to smashes. I’ll teach the 45 and 8 rule for hips and how to get that phatka (powerful whack) on the ball.
- Mindset talks happen right on court. Handling nerves, dealing with failure, self-motivation - we cover all that.
Program Pathways
- Beginners: We start slow, focus on basics, and make it super fun. Kids get comfortable on court from day one.
- Intermediate: More intensity, better technique, and basic tactics. Still fun, but they start working.
- Advanced Junior Tennis Coaching: For kids eyeing tournaments. Training gets tough. We work on strategy and mental strength for young tennis players.
- Tennis summer camps for juniors: Seasonal camps keep kids fit and improving even during school breaks.

My Story
Hey, Vanshal here – I run Tennace Academy. Tennis, for us, starts with 'Love' – and honestly, we mean it. We're more like a family than just a bunch of players. I learnt early that your mind is your strongest weapon, and that’s what I try to teach – even had a chat about it with Toni Nadal once! We just hit one year, opened another spot, and I love seeing our players grow – not just with trophies, but with real confidence and discipline. Parents see it too. Happy faces, big wins, good vibes – that’s the goal.
