About From Vision to Reality: The Making Of
I do not just show up and place items on a table. Before every event, I spend hours on the floor of the venue, testing the symmetry of the brass lamps and the flow of the marigold garlands to ensure the final layout looks perfect from every angle. When you see the final setup, know that the balance you see is the result of moving every single coconut and prop until it feels just right.
There is a specific kind of magic in taking an empty, plain stage and turning it into a space that feels like a traditional story. My process starts long before the guests arrive. I personally source the flowers, ensuring the marigolds are fresh and the jasmine is fragrant, because fresh elements change the energy of a room entirely.
I handle the placement of every brass element and deity idol myself. Whether I am creating a temple-style backdrop or setting up a traditional seating area, I look for the 'Tejomayam'—the radiance. If a prop does not fit the vibe of your specific function, I change it. This is why I prefer to handle the layout myself; I want to ensure that the colors of the floral beds match the theme of your event, whether it is a baby shower, an engagement, or a wedding.
I also focus on the practical side of decor. I ensure the stage flow works for the photographers, so you get the best possible memories without the decor getting in the way. It is hard work, but when I see the transformation from a bare wooden board to a vibrant, festive setting, it makes every late night worth it.
