About The Art of Handmade Details
What makes my work different is the time spent on the handmade details. Instead of using generic, ready-made items, I hand-carve names and deities on coconuts and meticulously arrange beads and jewels on each tray. This manual effort ensures that your event doesn't just look like a template, but instead feels like a genuine extension of your family’s story.
When I started Tejomayam, my goal was to bring a traditional soul back to modern celebrations. Whether it is an intimate housewarming or a grand wedding, I believe the details tell the story. I use fresh, authentic materials, like jasmine, marigolds, and traditional brass lamps, to set the scene.
I don't work with fixed, soulless templates. My process focuses on the fusion of tradition and personalization. I take classic elements, such as 'Pattada Gombe' dolls or traditional earthen stoves, and adapt them to your specific function—be it a puberty ceremony, a naming ceremony, or an engagement. I handle the full aesthetic spread, from essential 21-plate setups to grand 50+ plate arrangements, ensuring everything is neat, clean, and culturally grounded.
