We don’t just design houses. We build sanctuaries where light, shadow, and nature converge to create your Kanasu.
This is Kanasu, a home where my design philosophy comes to life. I believe a house should be a sanctuary, perfectly blended with the nature of namma Bengaluru, where light and shadow play across surfaces, and every detail matters.
I design homes with spaces that breathe. This double-height dining area in the Kanasu residence connects vertically and opens horizontally to the outdoors, creating a sense of grandeur and seamless flow for family life.
For me, architecture must respect the land. In the 'Between Two Trees' project, I designed the entire home around the existing, mature trees, making them the heroes of the story rather than obstacles.
The heart of a home is often a central courtyard. Here, traditional Chettinad pillars ground the modern open-plan living space, creating a tranquil core that connects the entire family.
I love the honesty of raw materials. The facade of 'The Mantle' uses a combination of textured concrete and a warm wooden screen, creating a bold, modern statement that feels both strong and natural.
Photography is just light remembering itself. I use architectural elements like these fins to cast stellar patterns of light and shadow, turning a simple staircase into a dynamic experience that changes throughout the day.
Looking up through a skylight in the 'Drishya' home. I design these openings to the sky not just for light, but to make you pause and notice the beauty in the everyday, connecting you with the world outside.
About this collection
We do not believe in erasing a site to build. We design around it. Whether it is a set of mature trees or a tight, narrow plot in Bengaluru, we study the sun path and wind flow before putting pen to paper. We create spaces where the architecture respects the land and your home feels like a natural extension of its environment, not a rigid box.
Our philosophy is simple. God is in the details. Since 2003, we have been crafting homes that breathe, using honest materials like exposed concrete, wood, and brick to create textures that age gracefully. We call this Technoarchitecture—not because it is full of gadgets, but because it is precise, thoughtful, and deeply respectful of the land.
Take 'Kanasu', our 13,500 sq.ft. residence. We designed it to be a sanctuary, a house that merges with the greenery of namma Bengaluru rather than fighting it. In 'The Mantle', located in a dense city neighborhood, we used a double-height courtyard to pull the sky into the center of the home, creating a private world that shifts in mood as the day passes. When we worked on 'Between Two Trees', the entire structure was planned around two existing trees, making them the heroes of the story.
We handle everything from initial site analysis and structural coordination to the final interior finishes. This includes:
- Climatology and sun-path studies to ensure your home stays naturally cool.
- Material honesty, using raw textures that tell a story.
- Seamless flow between living, dining, and courtyards to make your space feel expansive.
- Custom detailing for everything from 12ft doors to staircases.
If you want a home that feels as inviting outdoors as it does indoors, we are here to talk. We take projects across Karnataka, ensuring that from the first render to the final handover, your dream home is built with care.
