Custom Outfits & Handcrafted Designs
Here is a snapshot of my favorite creations—from upcycled heirloom sarees to matching family looks. Everything you see is made to order, right here in Bengaluru.
This beautiful gown was crafted by upcycling a client's cherished old saree. It features a fully pleated body with a traditional silk border, blending sentimental value with a timeless design perfect for any grand occasion.
I love creating coordinated looks for couples. Here, we have a custom-made embellished Bundi jacket and raw silk kurta set for him, perfectly complementing her stunning glitter net fish-cut lehenga with an attached dupatta.
Designing for little ones is pure joy. This adorable princess is wearing a custom Pattu Pavadai style silk frock, complete with puff sleeves and traditional detailing, making her festive-ready.
It's all about the details. This classy navy blue sequin gown features a deep V-back, elegantly accented with delicate beaded chains for a touch of glamour, perfect for a cocktail night or reception.
This custom-made half saree was designed for a beautiful client in Australia. It combines a traditional Kalamkari print skirt with a vibrant pink, hand-embroidered blouse and a delicate net dupatta for a complete wedding-ready look.
There's nothing better than seeing a whole family shine together. I designed this set of coordinated pastel outfits for a special family event, ensuring everyone felt comfortable, connected, and stylish.
For those who love a bold statement, this rich magenta velvet blouse features intricate embroidery and a daringly deep back with a velvet tie-up. It’s a perfect example of how we can customize details to match your personality.
About this collection
Since my Jayanagar studio runs strictly by appointment, you get my undivided attention to sketch out your ideas. Whether you have a clear vision or just a pile of old sarees you want to repurpose, we start with a conversation about what makes you feel comfortable and confident.
How We Design Together
Every outfit I create starts with your story. When you visit my studio, we don't just pick a style; we look at the fabric, the occasion, and how you want to feel. I guide you through the process, from choosing between raw silk or organza to deciding on the embroidery density.
Why Upcycling Matters
I have a real soft spot for old sarees. If you have an heirloom piece from your mom or grandma, bring it in. I specialize in breathing new life into these fabrics, turning them into modern gowns, lehengas, or kurtis. It keeps the sentiment alive while giving you something fresh to wear.
My Craftsmanship Details
- Hand Embroidery: My Maggam work is personal. Whether it is a heavy bridal back or subtle sleeve motifs, I focus on the intricate details that make the garment yours.
- Family Twinning: Matching outfits for festivals or weddings is one of my favorite challenges. I make sure the fabric color and motif choices look cohesive, not identical, so everyone in your family looks like a set.
- Comfort First: For kids' outfits like Pattu Pavadai or frocks, I prioritize soft cotton linings and non-itchy seams so they can enjoy the festival without fuss.
Let's Plan Your Outfit
My approach is hands-on. I handle everything from the initial sketch to the final fitting. If you have a specific deadline or a grand event coming up, let me know, and we can work through the timeline together.
