When you come into my Jayanagar studio, we start by talking about the occasion. Is it a wedding, a festival, or a red-carpet event? Men’s clothing often gets treated as an afterthought in wedding planning, but I think it deserves the same attention as any bridal outfit.
My approach to menswear is centered on three things: fit, fabric, and coordination.
Why the fit matters
For kurtas and Bundi jackets, the structure defines the look. I use high-quality fusing for jackets to ensure they stay crisp and wrinkle-free throughout the day. For kurtas, we look at cuts like straight or drape styles in raw silk or cotton silk. If you are getting a blazer made, we focus on the lapels and the shoulder fit to make sure it looks sharp without feeling bulky.
Coordinated looks
I love working with couples and families to create matching outfits. If your partner is wearing a net gown with gold embroidery, I can incorporate those same motifs into your Nehru jacket or pocket square. It is a subtle way to sync your styles without being overly flashy.
