The Tantava Design Process

When you come to my studio in Jayanagar, Bengaluru, you get my full focus. We start with a conversation about what you love. Maybe you have a vision for a deep V-back or specific puff sleeves, or perhaps you have an old family saree you want to turn into a modern dress. I guide you through selecting the right fabrics—like raw silk, organza, or velvet—and we work on the embroidery details. We use Maggam work for that intricate touch, ensuring the piece is unique to you.

Why Custom Outfits?

I believe clothing should be comfortable and personal. That is why I do not offer generic, off-the-rack pieces. We focus on:

• Perfect Fit: From cup-fitting and princess cuts to adjustable margins for kids' wear, the focus is always on structure and comfort.
• Creative Freedom: Whether it is coordinated family sets or a fusion gown, you have the final say on the design, color, and vibe.
• Sustainability: My favorite part of the process is upcycling. If you have an heirloom saree gathering dust, let's give it a second life as a lehenga or kurti.
