Our Signature Styles & Featured Designs
A glimpse into my world of custom couture, where traditional craftsmanship meets modern whimsy for every special family occasion.
This little one is radiating pure joy in her custom-designed velvet party dress. I crafted this piece with a rich magenta velvet, featuring a playful tiered skirt, a classic Peter Pan collar, and a matching statement bow headband to create a look that's both whimsical and elegant for any celebration.
Creating coordinated outfits for the entire family is one of my greatest passions. Here, we designed a cohesive look for a family event, using complementary colors and traditional fabrics. The daughter’s custom Pattu Pavadai perfectly harmonizes with her parents' elegant ethnic wear.
This mother-daughter duo showcases how coordinated outfits can celebrate individual style. I designed a vibrant half saree for the daughter with intricate aari work on the blouse, which beautifully complements her mother's classic silk saree, creating a stunning and connected look.
A closer look at the details of my custom velvet party dress. Made from the softest material for delicate skin, this design features a full, tiered skirt for a touch of drama and a sweet Peter Pan collar. The oversized bow headband is the perfect finishing touch for a memorable look.
About Featured
These pieces highlight the range of work we do at the studio, from sourcing soft-touch velvet for children to ensuring your family’s coordinated outfits share a common thread of colour and motif rather than looking identical. My focus here is showing you how we bridge traditional craftsmanship with modern comfort for every occasion.
When you look through this collection, you see the core of what happens at Yukba. It is not just about making clothes that look good for a photo; it is about building outfits that are wearable and distinct.
The Approach to Kidswear
My design philosophy for children is simple: comfort first, style always. You will notice that in the velvet dresses, I prioritise soft linings and tulle layers that add volume without the scratchiness often found in party wear. For the Pattu Pavadai and ethnic sets, I include internal margins, because I know children have growth spurts. I want your investment to last longer than a single event.
Creating Cohesion Without Uniforms
The family twinning sets are a favourite of mine. I prefer a subtle approach to coordination. Rather than dressing everyone in the exact same print, I identify a connecting element—perhaps a specific shade of embroidery or a fabric texture—to tie the family's looks together. This ensures that while you appear as a unit, your individual styles remain visible.
Our Process
Everything starts with a conversation. Whether you need a single outfit or a full family set, I work with you to understand the event type and your personal preferences. From there, I handle the sourcing of fabrics, the technical embroidery like aari or zardosi, and the final stitching to ensure the fit is precise. We serve clients across Bengaluru, and I am always happy to discuss a new idea from scratch.
