Custom Hand-Embroidered Outfits and Designer Wear
A look at my most cherished creations, from intricate hand-embroidered sarees to fairy-tale gowns for little ones. Each piece here is custom-made at my Sadashivnagar studio with a focus on details and comfort.
Nothing makes me happier than seeing a little one light up in one of my creations. I designed this sunny yellow tulle frock to be as bright and joyful as she is, ensuring it was comfortable enough for her to play and explore in. The custom design includes delicate floral details and a matching hair accessory to complete the look for her special day.
I believe the magic is in the details. This video shows a close-up of a custom magenta gown, highlighting the intricate hand-embroidery on the bodice. Each 3D flower is crafted with delicate pearl and thread work, set against a soft tulle fabric to create a true fairy-tale dress for your little princess.
This is a closer look at a custom-designed blouse for a child's Pattu Pavadai, a traditional South Indian outfit. I crafted this piece from rich pink silk with a scalloped neckline and delicate hand embroidery to perfectly match her mother's saree, creating a beautiful and memorable twinning moment.
Creating matching mother-daughter outfits is one of my favorite things to do. Here is a complete set I designed, featuring a traditional pink and gold silk saree with two perfectly coordinated, hand-embroidered blouses for both mother and child. It’s a wonderful way to celebrate family bonds during festive seasons.

When I design for little ones, my biggest rule is that it must feel as good as it looks. I use pure cotton linings for all my gowns and pattu pavadai sets, so your child stays comfortable while looking festive. No scratchy tulle against the skin, just soft fabrics and hand-stitched detailing that lasts through the whole event.
At Rithi Design Studio, every garment tells a story. I am based in Sadashivnagar, but I work with clients across India to bring these custom visions to life. My process starts with a simple conversation. We sit down to discuss the occasion, the fabric, and the specific hand-embroidery work you want, like delicate Zardosi or intricate Maggam designs. For family events, I often design twinning sets that coordinate colors and motifs between mother and daughter, making those group photos even more special. I am particularly proud of the technical details, like the double-hem stitching on skirts that allows for two to three inches of growth. It means the outfit stays with your family longer.
