Project Acropolis: Minimalist Luxury in Juhu

A 2,700 sqft apartment transformed into a quiet, minimalist sanctuary. We balanced a dark, rich palette with smart functionality to create this sophisticated Juhu residence.

An overview of the Project Acropolis living room and bar area. The design uses a dark palette with fluted wood walls, leather furniture, and marble floors to create a sophisticated and cohesive environment.

Welcome to Project Acropolis. The living room is designed for formal entertaining, featuring plush leather sofas, a sculptural coffee table, and a warm, layered lighting scheme to create an inviting ambiance.

This living room was designed to be versatile, perfect for hosting business meetings or a gathering of close friends. The arrangement of the leather sofas and recliner creates a comfortable and conversational setting.

Natural light softens the formal living room, highlighting the textures of the shag rug and the smooth leather. A large fiddle-leaf fig plant adds a touch of nature to the sophisticated space.

The bar area is seamlessly integrated with the entrance, featuring a backlit display for spirits, a wine fridge, and a black marble countertop. Fluted wood paneling connects the bar to the rest of the living space.

About this collection

Look closely at the kitchen cabinetry—we engineered a pull-out dining table and seating system that tucks away completely, giving you a clean, seamless counter space when you need it. It is part of how we make 2,700 sqft feel generous and clutter-free, proving that you do not need to sacrifice floor space to have a full-sized dining setup.

Project Acropolis was an exercise in restraint. For this 4BHK in Juhu, we moved away from the typical 'flashy' luxury and leaned into a dark, sophisticated material palette. The living room uses fluted wood walls, leather furniture, and marble flooring to create a formal environment that feels grounding rather than cold.

We love how the Brazilian Avocatus quartzite dining table turned out. Using a 'leather' finish on the stone gives it an earthy, tactile feel that stands up to daily use. It is a statement piece, but one that is inherently durable. The balcony also serves as a critical extension of the living space. By installing a retractable screen, we gave the clients the ability to enclose the area during peak heat or monsoon months, making the living room feel significantly larger and more versatile.

In the master bedroom, we focused on eliminating visual noise. We designed a floating Carrara marble TV console to keep the room feeling airy, while the dedicated coffee bar provides a small ritual space within the suite. Throughout the home, every detail—from the custom metal and glass entrance door to the handle-less kitchen storage—was designed to keep the lines clean while maximizing function. This project shows how we approach minimalist luxury: by hiding the complexity of engineering behind a calm, uncluttered aesthetic.
