Modern Luxury 3BHK Interior Design in Dadar
This 1800 sq ft Dadar apartment is a study in balancing modern luxury with daily comfort. We focused on deep wood textures, rich marble accents, and layered lighting to transform a standard 3BHK into a warm, sophisticated sanctuary.

About Completed Project: Dadar 3BHK
When designing for a 3BHK, the main challenge is balancing an open floor plan with enough warmth to feel intimate. In this Dadar project, we anchored the living area with heavy wood paneling and dark marble to ground the space, preventing it from feeling too hollow. We also positioned custom lighting to highlight specific textures, ensuring that the high-end finishes look just as inviting in the evening as they do during the day.
Our Approach to This Dadar Residence
Every project we take on starts with understanding how the client moves through their home. For this 1800 sq ft apartment, we wanted to move away from cold, minimalist trends and instead create something that felt grounded and rich.
Materiality and Texture We used a palette of warm wood veneers and dramatic black marble to create a sense of cohesion between the foyer, the living room, and the dining space. The sculptural console table at the entrance acts as a focal point, setting the tone for the rest of the house. By using fluted panels, we added a subtle layer of depth to the walls, which changes the character of the room as natural light moves across it throughout the day.
Lighting as Architecture Lighting is not just an utility; it is the secret weapon of any luxury home. In this dining area, the statement chandelier draws the eye upward, while concealed strips in the ceiling and wall panels provide a soft, ambient glow. This technique allows the room to shift from a bright, functional space for family meals to an elegant, intimate setting for entertaining.
Practical Functionality Luxury does not mean sacrificing the day-to-day. We integrated the storage needs into the design itself, ensuring that utility does not disrupt the aesthetic flow. From the study nook in the bedroom that uses contrasting grey marble and wood to keep work separate from rest, to the kitchen layout designed for an efficient workflow, every choice was made to support the client's actual lifestyle in Mumbai.
Modo Designs
I am Mitali Mody, and for me, design is about how a space feels when you walk in after a long day. I obsess over the small things, like the grain of a wood panel or the glow of a light, because that is what makes a house a home. My team at MODO Designs works to strip away the stress of renovation so you can actually enjoy the final result.
