About this collection
We structure every 60-minute session so you get the best of both worlds: 40 minutes of non-stop, high-energy Latin cardio to boost your heart rate, followed by 20 minutes of dedicated core and toning work using mats. You do not need to worry about complex choreography; our instructors focus on simple, repeatable moves that keep the energy high and the stress levels low.
Why Latin-Inspired Fitness Works
Many of our students walk in expecting a stiff, technical dance class and leave surprised by how much fun they had. Latinhit is less about mastering perfect footwork and more about 'feeling' the music. We pull from Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue to build a workout that feels more like a carnival than a traditional exercise session.
Because the focus is on cardio, you will find that even an hour flies by. We keep the movements intuitive so you aren't stumbling over complicated steps. It is perfect if you are looking to improve your cardiovascular health, lose weight, or just lift your mood after a long workday.
What You Need to Know
- No Partner Needed: This isn't a ballroom class where you need to bring a date. Everyone moves individually to the same beat.
- The Workout Split: We keep it balanced. You will spend the bulk of your time burning calories through continuous movement, but we dedicate the last 20 minutes to strength training for your core, thighs, and back. This helps prevent stiffness and builds long-term strength.
- Studio Setup: We use professional wooden sprung floors at our studios in Kilpauk, Adyar, and Kodambakkam (Chennai), as well as Indiranagar and Ejipura (Bengaluru). These floors absorb impact, keeping your knees safe while you jump and turn.
- What to Bring: Just your indoor shoes and a willingness to have fun. We provide the mats for your toning segment.
- Commitment: Our classes are designed for consistency, which is why we offer 2-month and 3-month passes. This helps you build a habit, see real results, and actually become part of our dance community rather than just dropping in once.
