Monthly Learn-to-Swim Coaching
Program Structure
- Sessions: 20-24 sessions per month (5-6 days a week).
- Time Allocation: 60 minutes total (45 mins water time + 15 mins warm-up).
- Supervision: Group training with a 1:10 to 1:12 coach-to-student ratio.
- Curriculum: Covers bubbling, floating, freestyle kicking, and introduction to Backstroke/Freestyle.
Facility Access
- Heated Pool: 25m temperature-controlled pool (approx. 29.5 C) suitable for all-weather training.
- Equipment: Use of academy kickboards and pull buoys included.
- Safety: Lane ropes for segregation and constant lifeguard monitoring.
Progression
- Initial skill assessment by senior coaches upon joining.
Quarterly Competitive Squad Training
Elite Training
- Extended Duration: 90 to 120-minute sessions focusing on endurance and speed.
- Technical Work: Micro-correction of stroke mechanics, starts (dives), and turns (tumble turns).
- Drills: High-repetition sets including wall kicks and underwater dolphin kicks.
Dry-Land Fitness
- Cardio: Participation in 20-minute Friday Fun Runs.
- Conditioning: Bodyweight exercises and flexibility training to prevent injury and build core strength.
Competition Prep
- Testing: Internal time trials and sprint challenges.
- Mentorship: Career guidance for district/state meets and National School Games.
- Gear Training: Instruction on using advanced equipment like fins and snorkels (equipment provided by user).
Seasonal Summer Crash Course
Camp Structure
- Duration: 15 to 21 consecutive days (excluding Mondays/holidays).
- Curriculum: Survival swimming skills (floating, treading) and water play.
- Format: Large group sessions (15+ students) focused on energy expenditure.
Deliverables & Safety
- Completion: Participation certificate from SFIA.
- Events: End-of-camp fun races or demonstration day.
- Supervision: Full-time lifeguard presence with dedicated shallow end training for beginners.
About Swimming Lessons
Swimming is more than just medals for me. It’s about showing up, putting in the effort, and growing with every lap. I care about grit more than natural talent. The real joy comes from those moments when you finally get that new stroke or push past a fear. I want to build not just champions, but swimmers with real heart and discipline.
Who I Train
- All ages welcome, from 3 years to 50 plus. Nobody’s too old or too young to start.
- If you’re new, I focus on water confidence for adults and kids, with basics in a safe, chill environment.
- Want more? I help you master butterfly, backstroke, and freestyle technique coaching as you move up.
- Our summer swim camp Faridabad style is for kids who want to learn, play, and make pool memories.
My Coaching Style
- I obsess over proper form and give feedback till you get that streamline right.
- Every drill has a purpose - from dolphin kicks to dry-land workouts like our Friday Fun Run.
- “Aapko kaisa lag raha hai?” (How are you feeling?) - I actually ask, because swimming should feel good, not scary.
- We celebrate every win, big or small.

- Heated pool lessons at Eicher School, Faridabad, so you never have to skip for weather—haan, sardi ho ya barsaat (cold or rain).
- Consistency is everything. No perfect swims, just real progress.

My Story
Hey, I’m Coach Tokas. Swimming’s not just a job for me—it’s my world. Grew up poolside with my dad, Raja Ram Tokas, who’s been coaching longer than I’ve been alive. Started Swim For India Academy to build a real swim family. Medals are cool, but it’s the small moments—like a kid nailing her first underwater dolphin kick or those sweet thank-you notes—that keep me going. We celebrate together, laugh together, and yeah, birthdays happen right by the pool. Just keep swimming, that’s our mantra.
My Work
Swimming lessons for all ages - We teach kids from 3 years old to adults up to 70+, from basics to advanced competitive training.
Summer camps & learn-to-swim classes - Join our summer swim camp in Delhi or Faridabad, perfect for beginners and those wanting to level up.
Competitive training & technique - We prep swimmers for state and national meets, including advanced butterfly stroke coaching and underwater dolphin kick lessons.
