About Behind the Scenes & My Journey
When you look at my cakes, you see the result of hours spent hand-sculpting each detail. Whether I am crafting a bride and groom topper for a wedding or sculpting a character for a birthday, I never use molds. This process allows me to capture the tiny quirks and personalities that make your story unique. It is not just baking, it is about putting heart into every piece of sugar.
My journey began in 2017 as a home baker in Vasai, balancing sleepless nights and the challenges of being a mother of three. It was never about a grand plan, but rather the need to create something real. Recently, I reached a milestone by opening Delimora Café, a space where I can share comfort food and bakes with my local community. Being featured in the Mid-Day newspaper was a surreal moment, a reminder that the sacrifices and the late nights were worth it.
Beyond baking for orders, I am deeply passionate about teaching. I host hands-on figurine modeling workshops that are open to beginners, kids, and anyone wanting to learn. We cover the entire process, from understanding body proportions and armature building to the final painting and dusting.
In my workshops, you will learn to make:
- Human figurines: Capturing expressions and clothing details like sarees or suits.
- Animal figurines: From cute giraffes and elephants to advanced characters.
- Superhero themes: Focusing on dynamic poses and costume sculpting.
I provide all the tools and materials, and I walk you through the techniques I use for my own cakes. My goal is to help you gain the confidence to create your own edible art, whether it is for your family or to start your own baking journey.
