About Your Story in a Cake (Personalized Themes)
I don't use molds for my figurines, which means every piece of your cake is hand-sculpted specifically for you. Whether you want a replica of your favorite meal, a gym setup, or a travel-themed scene, I focus on getting the textures and tiny details right so it feels personal. Just a heads up, these sculpted designs take time, so if you have a specific story you want to see on a cake, let's chat about it early.
The process of a storyteller cake is all about the details you give me. I start by understanding the emotion behind the event. Is it a retirement surprise? A quirky birthday? A long-distance travel wish? I map out the scene, sketch the figurines, and plan the colors.
Everything you see on these cakes is handcrafted. When I sculpt a figurine, I am looking at photos of hair, outfits, and postures to make sure it looks like the person it is meant to represent. Because I live in Mumbai and Pune, I know the humidity can be a challenge. I use a chocolate ganache sealing on my bases to ensure the cake stays stable and the sharp edges hold their shape until you are ready to cut it.
My flavor profiles are designed to stand up to the structure. You can choose from Belgian Chocolate, Red Velvet, or my personal favorite, Pistachio sponge with mango mousse. These aren't just decorations; they are meant to be eaten. If you are ordering a multi-tiered or gravity-defying structure, I incorporate food-grade internal supports so the design remains safe. I do not take shortcuts. If I think a design needs more time to dry or a different structural support to survive the travel, I will tell you. Trusting me with the design means I can focus on making it perfect for your big day.
