Behind the Scenes: How I Bake & Create
Baking isn't just about mixing ingredients; it’s about the process. Here’s a peek into my Navi Mumbai studio where I sculpt fondant, perfect my piping, and turn wild ideas into edible reality.
This is where the magic happens! A close-up video showing the meticulous process of sculpting fondant hands for one of my signature bento cakes. Every detail is crafted by hand.
Watch me create my Coconut Mango Tres Leches cake. From layering the sponge to adding the fresh mango filling and whipped cream topping, it's a tropical paradise in a tin.
A quick tutorial on how I assemble a bento cake. This one was a special lavender-colored cake for a dad, showing the layering, frosting, and decorating process.
A satisfying process video of me creating two baby shower cakes from start to finish. You can see the layering, frosting with a scraper for texture, and adding the final decorative toppers.
A shot of two beautiful floral cupcakes I created during a workshop at Don Bosco Academy. I love teaching others how to pipe designs like the rose and the dahlia.

About The Fidgety Pastry Chef at Work
Whether I am sculpting a custom fondant figure for a bento cake or teaching piping techniques at a local workshop, I believe in doing the hard work by hand. That is why you won't find mass-produced, factory-style designs here. Every swirl, sprinkle, and figurine is placed with intention, right here in my studio, to ensure that what you get tastes just as good as it looks.
My Process: From Sketch to Sugar
People often ask if baking is relaxing. The truth? It is messy, chaotic, and sometimes frustrating, but that is where the magic happens. When I take on a custom theme, like a Harry Potter or Office-inspired design, I don't just print a topper and call it a day. I build it. From layering sponges for my Coconut Mango Tres Leches to hand-sculpting tiny fondant hands for bento cakes, I put hours of heart into the details.
Hands-on Learning
When I am not in the kitchen prepping orders for across Mumbai, you will find me hosting workshops, like my recent sessions at Don Bosco Academy. I love teaching others the joy of piping a perfect rose or dahlia. It is not about being a pro pastry chef; it is about learning the basics so you can create something special at home. If you have ever wanted to try your hand at decorating, keep an eye on this space for upcoming workshop dates.
Why Handcrafted Matters
I operate out of my studio in Panvel, Navi Mumbai, and I treat every order as if it were for my own family. If a cake flops or a design doesn't meet my standard, I start over. Because what you are getting is not just a cake, it is a piece of my soul. Whether you need a full dessert table for a milestone event or a bento box for a rainy Tuesday, I am here to make it happen.
