Master Fondant Figurine Sculpting in Vasai
I don't just teach you to mold fondant; I teach you to bring characters to life. Join my hands-on workshops to learn the art of sculpting, from building internal skeletons to the final edible details.
Here is the full syllabus for my popular Fondant Modelling Workshop. We cover everything from human figures and bride and groom toppers to cute animals and superheroes over two or three days. It's perfect for beginners or anyone looking to improve their skills.
Look at these happy faces! This is us at the end of another successful figurine masterclass. It’s so rewarding to see my students proudly holding the characters they made themselves.
One of my wonderful students showcasing her entire collection of fondant figurines made during the workshop. She created a whole set of jungle animals, a girl, a superhero, and a couple topper, all in just a few days!
The moment a student truly sees what they're capable of creating. Here she is, admiring the collection of detailed fondant characters she sculpted herself during our masterclass.
A proud student holding the beautiful bride and groom figurines she created in my class. We focus on getting the details just right, from the drape of the saree to the sharp lines of the suit.
Another one of my talented students pointing to the groom figurine she sculpted. It's all about hands-on learning and personal guidance to ensure everyone leaves with skills they can use.
A little throwback to when I was teaching a hands-on class at the Cakeology fest in Bangalore. It feels so good to be featured on banners alongside other brilliant artists and share my knowledge with so many passionate bakers.
About Fondant Modelling Workshops
The biggest struggle with fondant in our Mumbai humidity isn't just the design, it's the structure. In my classes, we don't just shape figures; we build internal skeletons using skewers and wires. This ensures your toppers don't sag, melt, or lose their expression, even when the weather turns on us.
I've messed up plenty, so you don't have to. When I started, I spent hours trying to find tutorials that actually explained the 'why' behind a technique, not just the 'how.' That’s exactly why I keep my groups small. This isn't a watch-and-learn demo where you go home with a notepad and zero confidence. This is a messy, hands-on workshop.
What We Cover
We start with the boring but necessary stuff—armature engineering. You need to know how to create a skeleton that holds weight so your superheroes, brides, and grooms don't tip over. Once the structure is sound, we move into:
- Anatomy & Proportions: Learning how to sculpt faces that look human, not cartoonish (unless that's the goal).
- Texturing & Draping: Getting that saree or suit to fall naturally, rather than looking like a block of clay.
- Finishing Touches: The secret to edible painting and using lustre dusts to add depth to your characters.
Why Learn With Me?

Whether you are a total beginner who has never touched a ball of fondant or a home baker wanting to add professional-level figurines to your custom cakes, you will leave with a certificate and the actual skills to replicate the work at home. If you want to laugh, get your hands dirty, and learn the trade secrets I use daily at Sweet Home Bakery, then this is for you. We provide the studio, the materials, and the guidance.
