Handcrafted Fondant Cake Toppers in Mumbai
I don't use molds for my toppers. Every character, caricature, and story detail is sculpted by hand, ensuring your cake tells your specific story.
This custom cake topper tells a love story. He plays the guitar, and she listens. I love creating these personalized figurines that capture the unique connection between two people, making their celebration cake truly one of a kind.
A close-up of the mermaid figurine I made for a first birthday cake. I sculpted her face, hair, and tail entirely by hand to look like a doll from a fairytale. These are the details that bring a themed cake to life.
Every detail you see here was made by hand. This video shows the process of sculpting the elements for a First Communion cake: the golden chalice, the bunch of grapes, the loaf of bread, and the delicate rosary beads.
Sometimes you just have to have fun with it! I made this quirky caricature of my own face out of fondant for a collaboration project. It shows that with fondant, you can create any expression you can imagine.
About Handcrafted Cake Toppers & Figurines
I don’t believe in mass-produced plastic toppers that look the same on every cake. I sculpt every figure from fondant by hand, without using a single mold. This means I can capture the tiny, specific details—the exact way a guitar is held or a specific facial expression—that actually make a celebration feel personal to you.
When you order a custom topper, you are not just getting a decoration; you are getting a piece of edible art that reflects your life. Because I work entirely by hand, I am not limited by what a mold can produce. If you want a caricature of a loved one with their favorite accessory, or a character from a fairytale for a first birthday, I sculpt it from scratch.
Handling fondant in Mumbai's humidity is tricky business, but I have learned to adjust my techniques so the figures hold their shape and stay pristine. I use structural engineering with wires and skewers for support, meaning your cake topper won’t droop or collapse before the party even starts.
Whether it is a First Communion piece with delicate religious details or a quirky caricature of a friend, I focus on the expressions. Eyes, hair, and clothing drapes are all textured and painted using lustre dusts to give them a realistic finish. When you reach out, tell me the story behind the person the cake is for. Those little details—the quirks, the jokes, the style—are exactly what I translate into sugar.
