About Featured
I often meet people who stopped singing years ago because someone told them they did not have a 'good' voice. My workshops are not about finding the next playback singer; they are about using breathing techniques, Omkar meditation, and expressive singing to let go of self-doubt. When you join, we are not chasing pitch-perfect notes. We are chasing the relief that comes when you finally let your voice out.
My philosophy at Swarmaanas is simple: 'Gaana Aaye Ya Na Aaye, Gaana Chaahiye!' (Whether you know how to sing or not, you must sing). This collection highlights the core of my practice, where singing acts as a form of music therapy to help you release stress and find your natural tone.
Why join a singing workshop
Most of us grew up being told to stay quiet if we were not perfect. My sessions are a judgment-free zone. We focus on the '35% wale'—those who feel they cannot sing but want to. Through my weekend workshops and ongoing classes, we explore:
- Vocal wellness: Using diaphragmatic breathing and simple exercises to make your voice feel lighter and stronger.
- Emotional release: Singing is a natural stress-buster. We use songs and chants to express emotions that are hard to put into words.
- Expression over perfection: You do not need the training of a classical vocalist to enjoy music. I teach you to sing with 'bhaav' (emotion), which is what truly connects with an audience.
How we work
Whether you are looking for private music therapy, group classes in Dadar West, or online workshops accessible from anywhere in Mumbai and beyond, the focus remains on your joy. We do not judge your scale or your range. We simply help you find the confidence to open your mouth and sing. If you can talk, you can sing. Join me, and let us make music a part of your daily happiness.
Swarmaanas
I am Manasi Kelkar Tambe. Years ago, I struggled with my own voice and constant comparisons to my mother, the playback singer Uttara Kelkar. That personal journey led me to create Swarmaanas, a space where you learn to sing for yourself, not for an audience.
