Kizomba is less about counting steps and more about listening. Whether it is the slow, grounded energy of traditional Kizomba or the intense body isolations of Tarraxo, we focus on the feeling between partners. Let us get you moving.

About Kizomba & Tarraxo: The Grounded Flow

Kizomba is not a dance where you just memorize a pattern and hope for the best. Here, the lead is almost imperceptible. I teach you to use weight transfer and frame resistance so you can actually feel your partner's movement before it happens. It takes time to trust the silence in the music, but once it clicks, you are not just dancing, you are having a conversation without saying a word.

Understand the Connection

Many people come to my Malviya Nagar studio thinking Kizomba is just slow Salsa. It is not. It is a language. I break down why Kizomba is often called the African Tango. We start with the basics of weight transfer. You learn to carry your own weight so you are not pulling or pushing your partner, which is the secret to a comfortable, flowing lead.

The Tarraxo Difference

Then there is Tarraxo. If Kizomba is the conversation, Tarraxo is the texture. We focus heavily on body isolations and musicality. It is about control. You will learn to isolate your chest, hips, and shoulders to match the slower, heavy basslines in the music. My goal is to get you off the beginner floor and into social dancing where you can actually enjoy the flow of the music.

Why Learn With Me?

We do not use rigid, military style counts. I want you to hear the music, not count it. Whether you are coming for a weekend intensive or a regular batch, you will walk away with a better understanding of how to connect, how to resist, and how to just let the music guide your feet. No fancy shoes are required, just bring your focus and a willingness to learn the silence.

I have been obsessed with movement since I started dancing. For me, Kizomba is how I talk to the world. I am not here to just show you steps, I am here to help you find your own rhythm and the connection that makes this dance feel like a conversation.
