About Workshops & Classes: The Learning Zone
I don't just teach steps. In every class at my Malviya Nagar studio, we focus on the mechanics of connection. Whether we are drilling Salsa footwork or breaking down Kizomba resistance, you will walk out understanding the 'why' behind the movement, not just the 'how'.
My training philosophy is simple: dance is a feeling, and the technique is the language you use to express it. I operate out of my dedicated studio in Malviya Nagar, equipped with suspended wooden flooring designed to be knee-safe, which is critical for the rigorous work we do in Salsa, Bachata, and Kizomba.
When you join my regular weekend batches, we follow a progressive curriculum. It is not about rushing through choreography. It is about building a foundation in rhythm, partner connection, and spatial awareness. For those who want to accelerate their learning, I host intensive 7-day fusion crash courses that focus heavily on complex body isolations and musicality.
Frequently Asked Questions
What level are your classes? I have everything from absolute beginner foundations to intermediate and advanced project batches. You will find a level that challenges you.
Do I need a partner? No. In all my group classes, we rotate partners. It is the best way to learn how to lead and follow with different people, which is the reality of social dancing.
What style do you focus on? My heart is in Latin styles. We cover Salsa, both footwork and partner work, Sensual Bachata, BachaZouk, and various shades of Kizomba from traditional to Urban Kizz.
Ultimately, the energy you bring matters more than your starting point. Whether you are prepping for a stage performance or just want to feel comfortable at the next social, my job is to provide the structure so you can find your own freedom.
