About

Why I Do What I Do

Nature isn’t just a backdrop for me, it’s the main story. I get a kick out of spotting a striped tiger in the grass or catching a sunbird zipping around. Some days, you see everything; other days, just a hint of movement in the bushes. Both are magic. My tours are about sharing that feeling, whether you’re a pro or you can’t tell a chital from a chousingha.

What You’ll Get

  • I lead guided wildlife tracking expeditions in India’s wild spots - from Central India’s tiger country to the green Western Ghats and even the islands.
  • Bird photography tours aren’t just about ticking off species - I show you how to notice the small stuff, like a Sarus Crane’s landing or the chaos of migratory flocks.
  • Nature walks India style: we get into the weird and wonderful - mushrooms, butterflies, even the humble girgit (chameleon).
  • Field photography workshops are about seeing, not just shooting. You’ll learn how to tell a story with your camera, whether you’re using a DSLR or a phone.

How I See It

I talk straight about conservation. There’s too much junk out there messing with our forests and paani (water). I want you to leave with more than just pictures - maybe a new way of looking at the world.

Places We Explore

I cover Central India, the Ghats, Mumbai’s own Sanjay Gandhi National Park, the Northeast, and the Andamans. Every place has its own vibe and wild secrets.

My Story

Nature got me hooked real early. I used to call the Golden Oriole ‘Mango-bird’ – didn’t care for fancy names, just loved the colours and songs. Even now, it pops by my Mumbai window, right in Lokhandwala, where greenery spills into my home. Seen a lot change since my SGNP days, like that tribal kid who knew every leaf. For me, it’s not always about sharp shots. Sometimes the blurry leopard pic – the ‘Ghost of the forest’ – says way more.

My Work

Wildlife & Nature Photography, Writing, Naturalist Work - I shoot everything from tigers in reserves to mystical mushroom macro and insects in the backyard.

Storytelling with Every Shot - I dig deep into nature storytelling photography, showing drama – Oakleaf butterfly, pelican theatrics, bird flight.

Macro to Majestic - My lens loves the peerless Stick Insect, Chameleon (Girgit of Hindustan), and the big cats, all equally.

Conservation Through Photos - I highlight wetlands conservation photography, showing the clash between nature and human mess. Wetlands, not wastelands.
