Campaign Highlights and Behind the Scenes
A look into the creative chaos and polished results of my commercial styling work for brands.
This is the final commercial for Mia by Tanishq, a project I was proud to assist on. The video captures the power and determination of para-athlete Sheetal Devi, with styling designed to support her inspiring story.
A moment captured on set. This is me, taking a quick break between takes. Being on set is my natural habitat, and it's where all the creative energy comes together to make the final vision a reality.
Another shot from the set, caught in a candid moment. A big part of my job is communication and coordination, and sometimes that even involves a vintage telephone prop. This is a glimpse into the fun side of a busy shoot day.
About Campaign Highlights & Behind the Scenes
When you see a polished commercial on screen, you rarely see the safety pins hidden behind a collar or the frantic re-steaming during a lunch break. My job on set is to ensure that while the lighting, camera angles, and schedules are hectic, the wardrobe stays consistent across every take, regardless of how long the shoot runs.
Commercial styling is about narrative consistency. Whether we are shooting a 30-second spot in a studio or a lifestyle campaign on location, my focus remains on the integrity of the character. I handle the sourcing, fitting, and on-set management so the production team can focus on the lens.
My On-Set Approach
On shoot days, I am there for the full 10 to 12 hours. My kit is always prepped with everything from fashion tape to stain removers, and I stay until the final wrap to manage inventory returns. I believe the best looks are the ones that feel real to the audience, which is why I prioritize:
- Wardrobe Continuity: Ensuring accessories and folds remain consistent across different takes.
- Fit Hacks: Using clipping and taping to adjust garments for specific camera angles.
- Creative Problem Solving: Improvising solutions for wardrobe malfunctions or sudden script changes.
I work closely with directors and photographers in Delhi NCR to ensure the clothing matches the story, not just the trend. My goal is to make the styling feel invisible so the brand message takes center stage.
