Lookbook & E-Commerce Direction
Concept & Pre-Production
- Visual Direction: Creation of a digital PDF mood board establishing color palette, lighting references, and posing guides suited for e-commerce catalogs.
- Talent Casting: Coordination with modeling agencies to present a shortlist of 4-5 commercial category models. Client pays models directly.
- Team Assembly: Recommendation and coordination of photographers and HMUA (Hair & Makeup Artist) if required.
On-Set Execution
- Creative Supervision: 8-hour on-set presence to direct the shoot energy and ensure poses highlight garment USPs.
- Styling & Sourcing: Sourcing complementary accessories like minimal jewelry and generic footwear to complete the looks. Note: Major prop sets are not included.
- Garment Prep: Includes one on-set assistant for steaming, ironing, and organizing the merchandise rack for rapid turnover.
- Kit Usage: Utilization of professional styling kit including industrial clips, lint rollers, fashion tape, and safety pins.
Deliverables
- Edit Selection: Assistance in shortlisting the final best shots from the photographer's data immediately post-shoot.
Editorial & Campaign Direction
Creative Strategy & Concept
- Narrative Development: creation of a unique campaign theme (e.g., Urban Streetwear, Royal Heritage) including detailed shot storyboarding.
- Advanced Casting: Scouting and booking editorial or high-fashion category models, including international talent available locally. Handles agency negotiations.
- Location & Set Design: Scouting specific outdoor locations or designing a studio set plan. Includes sourcing background props like furniture, fabrics, and rugs.
High-Touch Production
- On-Set Art Direction: 10-12 hour shift with complete ownership of visual output, directing angles, lighting moods, and experimental framing.
- Curated Styling: Sourcing high-end or niche accessories such as statement jewelry and designer bags to elevate the garments.
- Creative Improvisation: Includes on-spot fabrication capabilities (draping, pinning, or altering garments) to achieve couture-level silhouettes.
- Team Management: Management of the entire beauty and tech team to ensure strict adherence to the mood board.
Post-Production
- Retouching Notes: Providing specific notes to the editor on color grading and mood to ensure final images match the creative vision.

What I Do
I’m Jessica, and I’m all about building visual stories for fashion shoots - not just picking clothes, but shaping the whole mood. My job is to take your brand’s vibe and turn it into something people actually feel when they see the photos. Sometimes it’s dreamy and soft, sometimes it’s wild and edgy. I love the chaos of shoot days, working with a fun team to get something cool on camera.
My Process: Fast & Real
- Start with the big idea. I dig into your brand, make a concept, and build a moodboard - colours, lighting, location, all locked in.
- Model selection for brand shoots is key. I look for faces that suit your story, not just models who look good in clothes. Got a strong network to tap into for this.
- On shoot days, I’m everywhere - talking to the photographer about shots, guiding models on posing, making sure the plan comes alive. If something goes wrong, jugaad kar lenge (we’ll figure it out, no stress).
