About Bowls for Every Occasion

Because we fire our stoneware at high temperatures (Cone 10, approx. 1285°C), every bowl is fully microwave and dishwasher safe, despite how delicate the glazes might look. We carefully trim the foot rings for stable stacking and sand the bases to ensure your tabletops stay scratch-free. When you order, we can mix and match our signature glazes—like deep Tenmoku or opalescent Chun—to fit your kitchen’s specific vibe.

Our Process: From Wheel to Table

Everything begins on the potter's wheel. We don't use moulds, so every ramen bowl, cereal bowl, or deep katori has a slightly different weight and feel. After the initial throwing and trimming, we let the pieces dry before the first firing.

The Glaze Magic

Glazing is where we get a bit obsessed. We mix our own formulas in the studio, which is why you’ll see such distinct results.

  • Tenmoku & Chun: Our signature dark, glossy finish with those beautiful, galaxy-like blue splashes.
  • Shino: Offers warm, rustic, and earthy tones that really make the colors of your food pop.
  • Rutile: Our newest experiment, creating iridescent, multi-tonal drips that change depending on how the light hits the bowl.

Why Handmade Matters

We embrace the quirks of handmade pottery. You might see a subtle variation in glaze application or a unique speckle pattern—that’s just the kiln working its magic. It is proof that your bowl didn't come off a factory assembly line. Whether you are stocking up for a weekend ramen night or need a set of sturdy snack bowls that don't chip easily, we create these pieces to be used, held, and loved every single day.

Need a Custom Set?

If you have a specific size in mind or need a bulk order for a café or event, just let us know. We love collaborating on new glaze combinations or forms that fit your space perfectly.
