Designing a commercial space is about creating an energy that keeps people coming back. This resto-bar in Hennur blends industrial raw charm with elegant, organic textures to craft an immersive, high-energy dining experience.

This wide shot captures the dynamic atmosphere of the main dining area and bar. The design uses a mix of seating types, from intimate tables to long benches, all under a ceiling with acoustic panels and dramatic pink lighting.

The interior features a variety of textures, including a patterned wall, wooden floors, and plush seating. Arched niches and carefully placed lighting add architectural interest and create a warm, layered environment.

A key feature of the design is this sculptural, suspended bar shelf that hangs under a glass roof. Its curved, modular form is both a functional display and a stunning architectural statement that allows natural light to flood the space.

A daytime shot of the suspended bar display highlights its unique form and the way it interacts with sunlight. The design turns bottle storage into an art installation, visible from all angles of the restaurant.

A close-up of the intricate bar display shows how premium liquors are showcased on individual shelves. This detail adds to the feeling of a curated, high-end beverage experience.

The dining area under the skylight is bright and airy, filled with natural light. I used large, woven rattan pendant lights and comfortable, neutral-toned chairs to create a relaxed, al fresco dining feel indoors.

As evening approaches, the same space transforms. The skylight is illuminated with blue neon lights, creating a vibrant and energetic mood that contrasts beautifully with the warm glow of the rattan pendants.

This seating area combines exposed red brick with a whimsical, European-inspired faux balcony. This playful detail adds a touch of old-world romance and serves as a unique photo opportunity for guests.

A closer view of the faux balcony against the brick wall. This element, combined with the lush plants, creates a charming and picturesque corner within the larger industrial-chic space.

The design incorporates large, curved concrete planters to divide the space and bring in abundant greenery. This biophilic element softens the industrial feel and creates a refreshing, garden-like atmosphere.

About TYD Resto-Bar: Vibrant Hospitality Design

The design hinges on that sculptural, suspended bar display—it doesn't just hold bottles, it acts as a wave-like focal point that pulls the room together. We positioned it specifically under the glass roof to play with natural light throughout the day, ensuring the vibe shifts seamlessly from a bright, airy brunch spot to a moody, energetic bar at night.

Hospitality design is rarely just about aesthetics; it is about managing flow, lighting, and material durability to create a space that stands up to heavy foot traffic while feeling intimate. For the TYD project, our goal was to bridge the gap between industrial grit and organic warmth. By using exposed brick walls, we established a foundation of raw, urban texture, which we then softened using cane-woven lighting fixtures and lush indoor greenery. This approach brings a biophilic element to an otherwise concrete-heavy environment, making the space feel alive.

We integrated architectural details like the European-inspired faux balcony to introduce a narrative element, giving guests a sense of discovery. The choice of terrazzo for tabletops provides a durable, stylish surface that complements the custom joinery we designed for the bar area. Because we handle end-to-end execution, from the initial architectural shell to the final interior styling, we were able to ensure that the lighting layouts—specifically the shift from daylight-friendly transparency to nighttime neon energy—worked perfectly with the structural ceiling design. Whether you are looking to build a destination cafe, a boutique resort, or a high-end resto-bar, our process ensures that your brand story is baked into the very walls of the space.
