About
Furniture as Part of Space
We think of furniture as more than just stuff in a room - it’s architecture. Every piece, whether a chair or a panel, shapes those in-between spots where life actually happens. For us, custom furniture and fixture design means dissolving the line between the object and the space around it.
How We Work
- Furniture is spatial planning – we use it to carve out zones, guide movement, and create flow.
- Materials matter. We mix teak, stained pine, plywood, steel, brass, and glass. Sometimes we throw in local crafts, like Chikankari-patterned surfaces, to give a nod to where we are.
- Light is always part of the design. Expect perforated panels, screens, and forms that play with shadow. Spaces feel different at different times of the day because of this.
What We Build
- Modular shelving solutions and knock-down steel structures, great for spaces that need flexibility.
- Bespoke residential furniture: handcrafted, personalized, sometimes conceptual. Think teak and ratan dining sets or lantern partitions that double as lighting.
- Integrated office furniture: metal-grid systems that become ceilings, shelves, and desks all at once.
- Fixtures that multitask – like brass mesh that lights up a showroom or adjustable screens in offices that work as light shelves and planters.
Why It Feels Different
Every piece is part of a layered surface, alive with texture and light. It’s not just about function. It’s about atmosphere, and how handcrafted wooden partitions or clever modular pieces can quietly change the feel of a space.
