A glimpse into our world of design where light, earth, and raw materials come together to create spaces that breathe.

We believe light is a building material. Here in our Kaattu Veedu project, sunlight filters through the tiled roof, creating an ever changing pattern of light and shadow on the lime plastered walls, making the space feel dynamic and warm.

This is Earthsong, an experience center we designed to feel like it grew right out of the land. The minimalist, earth-toned structure is reflected in the water, creating a moment of pause and connection with the environment before you even step inside.

For this luxury villa, we designed a double height living room that balances grandeur with a cozy, inviting feel. The statement chandelier from Klove Studio acts as a centerpiece, while the subtle tones and plush furniture create a space of royal comfort.

Get to know our principal architect, Shivani Kumar, in this episode of XS Unplugged. She shares her thoughts on design, her love for light as a material, and gives a peek into our studio life and creative process.

Sustainability is at the heart of our work. In this bathroom at Kaattu Veedu, we used locally sourced terracotta pots as fillers in the concrete slab ceiling, reducing concrete usage and adding a unique textural element that connects to an open air courtyard.

We designed the Brigade Valencia marketing office to be a welcoming space, inspired by the palaces of southern Spain. The series of arches glows with warm light at dusk, creating an inviting facade that moves beyond the typical cold corporate office.

It's all in the details. For our own penthouse, we played with textures and light, seen here as sunlight dapples across the terrazzo countertop, highlighting the warmth of the wood and cane weave details in the bathroom.

Our design process is about revealing the essence of a space. This diagram shows our approach for the Earthsong experience center, where we imagined the structure as a mound of earth, chiseled away to reveal openings and create form.

About Featured

We don’t believe in mass-producing homes. Every project here is a chance to experiment with raw textures and light, whether it’s using terracotta pots in the slab for natural cooling or designing with lime plaster, so your space feels like it has a heartbeat.
