Sustainable and Timeless Home Transformations
A collection of our signature projects where we blend modern efficiency with natural, breathable materials to create spaces that truly tell a story.
This villa's exterior transformation is a perfect example of how I blend modern aesthetics with sustainable principles. The facade features natural stone and terracotta jaalis, complemented by strategic lighting that creates a warm, inviting glow and highlights the architectural details after dark.
I believe a home's entrance should make a timeless first impression. Here, I transformed a simple entryway with classic checkerboard flooring, custom wall paneling, and a beautiful wooden door, creating a passage that is both elegant and welcoming.
This temple project was a special opportunity to blend faith with craftsmanship. The centerpiece is the intricately carved teakwood door, a tribute to traditional Indian artistry. The entire structure was designed to be a serene and timeless space for peace and reflection.
This bedroom was designed as a personal sanctuary, combining luxury with functionality. I used a mix of ambient and focused lighting to create a relaxing mood, while the custom headboard and integrated side couch add a touch of bespoke elegance and comfort.
I use terracotta not just for its beauty, but for its sustainable properties. These terracotta jaalis or screen blocks are a perfect example. They provide privacy and security while allowing natural light and air to flow through, reducing the need for artificial cooling.
For this child's room, I designed a whimsical false ceiling featuring a moon and stars. This creative element turns the room into a magical space, sparking imagination and making bedtime a calming, dream-like experience for the little one.
This project shows how a design element, from a simple drawing to the finished product, comes to life. I incorporated these custom Georgian bar windows to add architectural character and timeless elegance, enhancing natural light while creating a beautiful focal point in the room.
About this collection
When you look at these projects, notice how we use structural elements like checkerboard flooring, natural stone cladding, and lime plaster to solve practical living problems. We avoid temporary trends, focusing instead on designs that naturally regulate light and air, making your home feel airy and grounded even within the urban density of Delhi NCR.
Building Homes That Breathe
At Story of Walls, my team and I believe that interior design is about more than aesthetics. It is about how people live. We approach every project as an opportunity to move away from synthetic, closed-off environments toward spaces that are healthy, sustainable, and truly 'breathable.'
Why Our Approach Matters
We prioritize materials that connect your home to the earth while offering long-term durability:
- Lime Plaster Walls: These act as a self-healing, breathable layer that helps manage humidity, keeping your home cooler in the summer and preventing the damp, stuffy feeling common in many apartments.
- Natural Stone & Terracotta: We use these for cladding and jaalis not just because they look striking, but because they have excellent thermal properties. They help regulate indoor temperatures, which keeps your energy bills lower.
- Woodwork with Precision: While we love traditional craft, we use modern machinery for our rubberwood kitchens and custom furniture. This ensures that the finish is clean, the joinery is tight, and the process is fast without compromising on quality.
A Transparent Process
Renovation can be stressful, which is why we keep our process grounded. From the first 3D walkthrough to the final site execution, we are hands-on. Whether it is a full villa renovation or a small kitchen makeover, we want you to know exactly what is happening in your space at every stage. If you are looking for an interior design partner in Noida or Greater Noida who values craftsmanship over shortcuts, let us start a conversation about your home.
Story of Walls
I founded Story of Walls because I wanted to prove that homes could be both beautiful and genuinely healthy. My team and I focus on using materials that last—like lime and natural stone—rather than just following passing trends. We are here to help you build a space that is as good for your peace of mind as it is for the planet.
